Join us as we celebrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ! This Sunday we begin our Epiphany sermon series “Jesus Walks in the Spirit”. As Jesus, true God and true man, ministers and proclaims his kingdom, the Holy Spirit is with him through it all. In Isaiah 42, the Lord’s chosen servant is empowered by God’s Spirit to bring righteousness, justice, and hope. In Romans 6, Paul explains how baptism unites believers to Christ’s death and resurrection, empowering a new life in the Spirit. In Luke 3, Jesus is baptized and the Holy Spirit descends on him like a dove as God the Father speaks from heaven, marking the beginning of his public ministry. Baptized into Christ, he has now given his Spirit to us! Pastor Alec preaches the message.
