Reading: Ephesians 4:1-16
Focus: Ephesians 4:1-3
I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Consider these prompts to guide your prayers this week:
- Paul was a “prisoner for the Lord,” and ministered even from prison. Pray for those who are involved with prison ministry today.
- What is the calling to which you have been called? Pray that you may live out your calling with humility and gentleness, and with patience.
- Consider what it looks like “maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Pray that God uses you to bring about peace wherever it is needed.
