Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

Consider these prompts to guide your prayers this week:

  • Having confronted the church in Corinth, Paul ends his second letter to them with his final greetings. “Aim for restoration” – Pray that God would give you the words and actions necessary to mend any broken relationships.
  • As you move through your day, look for those who need comforting. Pray that you might really see them, that you will listen, and provide comfort.
  • Spend a few minutes of your prayer time praising God for the love and peace He gives you.
